UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., June 30, 2008 – NBCUniversal along with longstanding partner Delivery
Agent, Inc. have announced the redesign and expansion of the NBCUniversal marketplace at
www.nbcuniversalstore.com.
The newly revamped marketplace offers visitors an easy and more comprehensive experience for
browsing, locating, and quickly purchasing both physical and digital products, from wallpapers to
subscription services, all within the same transaction and all tied to their favorite NBCU shows and
events.
The redesign also marks the launch of the official online store for Olympics-related event gear in
anticipation of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. This assortment includes nearly 150 new items from
apparel to collectibles, many of which are exclusive to the NBC Olympics Online Store. The Olympics
store includes an assortment of 31 collectible pins, including The Fazzino Pin, a limited edition, highly
collectible pin which captures the three-dimensional style of internationally renowned 3-D pop artist
Charles Fazzino and depicts China’s rich and colorful culture. Other items include; Beijing
Opening/Closing Pin Set, Beijing Olympics 2008 Camera Pin, Beijing Logo T-Shirt and an Olympic
Team Ring Bracelets. The Olympics store also includes apparel items from Ralph Lauren & Nike.
The new marketplace will also encompass the most broadcast and cable networks under one shopping
umbrella, including NBC, Sci Fi, Bravo, USA Network, CNBC and NBC Sports. In addition, the site
offers global navigation to NBCU’s SeenON! environment where fans will now be able to purchase
items from a wide variety of products from the sets of NBCUniversal’s hit television shows such as “The
Office,” “Lipstick Jungle” and “Deal or No Deal.” Also available are limited edition SeenON! items via
NBCU’s auction platform, such as the one-of-a-kind My Name is Earl custom chopper that recently
sold for $42,000.
