Delivery Agent Extends Partnership with Discovery Communications to Include Interactive Television Beginning with the AT&T U-verse Santa Tracker

San Francisco – December 20, 2010 – Delivery Agent, the leader in multi-channel commerce for sports and entertainment and which handles all of Discovery Communications (Nasdaq: DISCA, DISCB, DISCK) direct-to-consumer commerce operations, announced today Discovery Communications’ sponsorship of the Santa Tracker app on AT&T U-verse® TV.

Discovery Communications’ initial foray into interactive television includes its sponsorship of the AT&T U-verse Santa Tracker app, which is currently available on Channel 98. With Santa Tracker, U-verse TV customers can play games, vote in the “Naughty or Nice” poll, listen to sing-a-long holiday songs, and on Christmas Eve, they can track Santa’s travels around the globe.

AT&T and Delivery Agent developed and produced for Discovery the full-featured interactive marketing program on Santa Tracker which enables children and parents to use their remote control to play on-screen holiday games and view videos of prizes that include products from the vast selection of toys available at DiscoveryStore.com .

AETN Consumer Products Launches Social Commerce Initiative for the Holiday Shopping Season

Fans of Popular HISTORY® and A&E Network Original Series can Buy Products Directly on Facebook

NEW YORK, December 8, 2010 – AETN Consumer Products, a division of A&E Television Networks, LLC (AETN), has announced today an initiative that will enable fans of AETN television programming to buy merchandise directly on Facebook.  Beginning today, products tied to HISTORY® original hit series Pawn Stars and American Pickers, as well as A&E Network’s Billy the Exterminator, Paranormal State and Dog the Bounty Hunter, can be purchased directly via the Shop tab on each of the programs’ individual Facebook sites.

The Facebook e-commerce feature is operated by AETN with Delivery Agent, which manages AETN’s online stores.

“This capability enables us to bring the purchase experience closer to the consumer,” said Vice President, Consumer Products, Andrew Wise.  “Reducing the number of clicks necessary to buy an item results in a win-win scenario for both AETN and the fans of our most popular programming.  The Facebook platform by definition facilitates a more social environment in which users can review and recommend products to their friends.”

The AETN program pages on Facebook feature the most popular merchandise and offer exclusive discounts to consumers.  For example, products available immediately in the Pawn Stars shop include:

  • Pawn Stars Ultimate Fan Gift Set (including a t-shirt, Seasons 1 & 2 DVDs, a mug and bobblehead dolls) for $79.99 (a 48% discount);
  • Austin “Chumlee” / Corey “Big Hoss” / Old Man “The Appraiser” / Rick “The Spotter”  bobbleheads: $19.95 each or all four for $59.99 (a 25% discount);

AETN Consumer Products will be launching additional Facebook fan shops for A&E, HISTORY and Lifetime programs in Q1 2011.
