FMI, Inc. first to license Delivery Agent platform to power interactive commerce for New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Hornets

SAN FRANCISCO, May 27, 2011 – Delivery Agent, the leader in multi-channel commerce for sports and entertainment, which has been providing turnkey e-commerce solutions for years to major sports and entertainment properties, has added a SaaS solution to its offerings. In its first SaaS deal, Delivery Agent announced that Facility Merchandising, Inc. (FMI), which holds the exclusive interactive commerce rights to top NFL sports teams and arenas, will use Delivery Agent’s platform to run online stores, mobile storefronts and television commerce operations.

“Historically, our clients’ needs were met only through our full-service offering,” said Delivery Agent CEO Mike Fitzsimmons. “Today, however, the marketplace demand for SaaS is exploding and many companies like FMI already have components of the commerce offering in-house. We’re thrilled that our SaaS product will be licensed by FMI and used to connect consumers of the most watched content in the world – sports content – to relevant products.”

“FMI is the largest seller of branded sports merchandise at arenas in the U.S.,” said FMI CEO Milt Arenson. “From the Super Bowl and World Cup to the U.S. Open and World Series, for 30 years FMI has been providing world-class merchandising services on site for major events, arenas and sports teams. Delivery Agent was a natural choice for us when looking for a partner to support our growth to web, mobile and television commerce.”
